Party Invites

Here is the invites I made for my Grandson party.  He had a joint party with his wee pal.  She is My Little Pony mad and he loves Cat in a Hat so I linked the two so they were both  pleased.  I have entered this card in to the  Delicious Doodle Challenge as it required a card etc with a creature.  My creature is the horse.

Wedding card made to order.  Bride and groom being transported by horse and carraige.

Wednesday 20 July 2016

Latest make from Linnie Pinks cds.  Usual add of glitz to make it pop and a differant shape for a change.  Been busy with orders but cant reveal any of them till after they have been delivered, just a rule of mine which I feel is only fair to my customers.

Monday 11 July 2016

Busy times right now.  Cards etc are made when I can grab a few minutes spare.   Hope things slow down a bit soon though as this pace is a bit much to keep up for much longer.  Hope you are all enjoying happy days.  xxx

DT Card for Christmas in July Challenge

This is my 2nd card as part of the Design Team at WhoopsiDaisy.  You can enter this months challenge by following the link in the side bar of this  blog     I tried a new idea for me by adding a domed layer of snowy acetate over my image.  The background I cut using my Cricut Explore then added pearls on some of the cross sections.   A couple of snowflakes and red bows plus my greeting embellished with a green diamonte finish it all off.  My image is from  Linniepinks cd which can be purchased from the etsy shop  (again see the link  in the sidebar of this blog).   I cut my image twice in order to  decoupage her and give her dimension.   I glittered the fur on her hat and coat then added a diamonte to her hat and the waist of her coat,  The scarf and bag were also layered up to help enhance the dimension  All the images on LinniePinks CDs are superb to work with so don't be afraid to purchase them and have a go.  Look forward to seeing your entry into this months challenge at Whoopsidaisy.

Monday 27 June 2016

Golden Anniversary Card for a couple who enjoy their caravan.  I used Tattered Lace Die for the caravan and matted and layered with lovely papers from my stash.  The tonic die was used for the greeting.  My new watermark was made by Sue Hickey to include the whoopsidaisy fairy by Linnie Pink.

Here is a box card for a 25th Wedding Anniversary Order.  Feathers and Pearls and a few Diamontes.  Not the best picture but it looked really good in reality and I was very pleased with the end result.

Gift Bags

Gift Bags made on Explore.  Cant remember the name of the lady who posted the file but thanks to her.  I really enjoyed making them.  The possibilities are endless.  I made these with 240grm card and a few embellishments.

Thursday 21 April 2016

Image from Linnie Pink's new So Cute CD.  Butterflies and borders are tattered lace.  Simple but pretty.

Monday 18 April 2016

Folding Box card in Purple hues.
Lovely blue box card.  Butterfly on the front was made for me by my daughter and is done in felt.

Tuesday 5 April 2016

Hexagonal Box.

This one takes a wee while to do but is well worth it.  I stamped it out and embossed the design using gold embossing powder then painted before gluing it all together.  Its a really sturdy box and can be done in whatever colour you like.

Boxing Clever!

Just  had a look over my blog and thought I should add some pictures of the boxes I have made.  Bare with me though as it seems things have changed since I last used this blog page!  If I make any mistakes please can someone let me know so I can rectify it.

These were for the cupcakes at my Grandsons birthday party.  Football crazy so the obvious topper had to be a football. Put it on two of the sides to balance it and He was real pleased with the result.

Extended Box

Made this one using a Tonic Die.  I cut it twice and layered it on top of each other to give me the height I needed for the gift I was putting inside.   I "hid the join" by covering it with the multiple row of glitz,  added the butterfly and a few coloured diamantes and it came out quite well I think.

Monday 28 March 2016

Just another boys card.

Boys are notoriously difficult to make cards for so this one fits the bill I think.
Its a simple mat and layer card but looks good.

Back to the drawing board

Well been a long time since last on this blog.  Had quite forgotten how to use it but back to learning now.  Had a busy couple of years really but been posting on Facebook recently.  Need this page reviving though to get in touch with all my crafting friends. Heres just a couple of my latest makes. Top one is a gift card for my Grandaughter from her Mum.  She was getting her first pointe shoes for her ballet and was so excited when she got it.  The other is a sympathy card obviously.   Hope you like them.
