Image from Linnie Pink's new So Cute CD.  Butterflies and borders are tattered lace.  Simple but pretty.

Folding Box card in Purple hues.
Lovely blue box card.  Butterfly on the front was made for me by my daughter and is done in felt.

Hexagonal Box.

This one takes a wee while to do but is well worth it.  I stamped it out and embossed the design using gold embossing powder then painted before gluing it all together.  Its a really sturdy box and can be done in whatever colour you like.

Boxing Clever!

Just  had a look over my blog and thought I should add some pictures of the boxes I have made.  Bare with me though as it seems things have changed since I last used this blog page!  If I make any mistakes please can someone let me know so I can rectify it.

These were for the cupcakes at my Grandsons birthday party.  Football crazy so the obvious topper had to be a football. Put it on two of the sides to balance it and He was real pleased with the result.

Extended Box

Made this one using a Tonic Die.  I cut it twice and layered it on top of each other to give me the height I needed for the gift I was putting inside.   I "hid the join" by covering it with the multiple row of glitz,  added the butterfly and a few coloured diamantes and it came out quite well I think.

Just another boys card.

Boys are notoriously difficult to make cards for so this one fits the bill I think.
Its a simple mat and layer card but looks good.

Back to the drawing board

Well been a long time since last on this blog.  Had quite forgotten how to use it but back to learning now.  Had a busy couple of years really but been posting on Facebook recently.  Need this page reviving though to get in touch with all my crafting friends. Heres just a couple of my latest makes. Top one is a gift card for my Grandaughter from her Mum.  She was getting her first pointe shoes for her ballet and was so excited when she got it.  The other is a sympathy card obviously.   Hope you like them.

Long Time - No Posts!

Been a long time since I have visited my blog!  Need to make a definate effort to keep it up this year.  Had a hectic start to this year with my youngest daughter Nicola being diagnosed with 2 brain tumours.  We have been to hell and back these past few months and I hope we are now out of the woods and things are picking up for her.    Had my workshop flooded out in the middle of all this too!!  Thanks to all the positive prayers from so many friends and fam. we are now putting  the negative start to this year behind us.  Onwards and upwards as they say.  I am back making my cards etc and looking forward to posting some piccys of them all soon.  xx

Wow another lovely day in this area.  Can't believe it! Maybe we are going to get a summer after all.  Hope everyone is having good weather and good vibes for crafting.   Heres another baby card I made last week. Stamped around the edges and coloured with promarkers then used spellbinders dies in two sizes to mount.  The wee boy on the cushion stamp is just adorable and so easy to colour, again the promarkers do most of the work for you, I believe.Hope you like him anyway.
